Lately, I’ve been learning to put my ego in check and be grateful for where I am and what I’ve accomplished rather than complaining because yet another publicist unintentionally shoved me with their elbow. I was assigned to cover both days of the first-ever Vulture Festival LA 2017 and it’s experiences like this that help me see the big picture — as fucking NUTS as events like this can be.

Seeing so many celebrities, show business execs, directors, and producers with the FANS who pay and travel to see them all under one roof (while I’m there for work) is humbling. You guys know I’m not about putting celebs on a pedestal. But grazing shoulders with Kerry Washington backstage and accidentally bumping into (quite literally) Danny DeVito and the Always Sunny cast while fans would die to even be near them or take a photo with them makes me think about how far I’ve come. What I do is definitely work, and challenging work, but sometimes I have to stop and remind myself that it is pretty fun.
Anyhow, I wanted to give you guys a little behind-the-scenes action to make you feel like you were there with me. (These vids are from Instagram story, btw. I’m vvvvvvvvv technologically-advanced.)
