Sometimes, I think it would be bomb to date a professional athlete. (But I could also be confusing that with just wanting to straight-up be Jessie James Decker.) Only once I start fantasizing about that life, I remember: Oh yeah, don’t most professional athletes cheat at one point or another? Let’s be real, the stereotype exists for a reason, and the real-life athletes won’t even deny it (see in the video below).
Is it a stereotype if it’s true?
Of course, not ALL professional athletes are unfaithful. And it’s not like this notion is a big secret — it’s like the rockstar thing. They know the fame and adoration may cause temptation and so do athletes and the people they marry. Don’t act so shocked.

To get a better understanding of why athletes may be tempted to cheat more than the average person, I asked professionals for their opinion. Further, are male athletes just getting the bad rap? Are the female athletes just as likely to cheat? Do they not get caught as much?
