‘GLOW’s Marianna Palka & I Discuss How Men Deal With Boobs

in Body, My Selfie Stick on 07/07/17

90 percent of the time, I’m feeling like bras are the devil’s work. This actress, Marianna Palka, who’s in Netflix’s new show GLOW, agrees. For a DDD gal like me, having big boobs makes you curse every cute, form-fitting, backless outfit that was ever created, and bras only accentuate the struggle. But regardless of size, Marianna (who’s a C), I, and every woman on earth can bitch about bras all day long. (Because let’s not ignore the sweet nirvana that is taking off a bra at the end of the day. Bless.)

And we know a dude’s point of view on the situation. Or do we?

Thanks to movies like Superbad, we know guys think reductions, insulting boobs, etc. is like slapping god in the face. Eye roll. I love my boobs, don’t get me wrong, they’re part of who I am, the many nicknames, and welcomed grabs I’ve received through the years. But I’d like to see men walk around with these things all damn day. Plus, Marianna brings up a good point:

Has a guy ever preferred if you did or didn’t wear bras?

If he cares, I see red flags. And after speaking with Marianna, it seems like she’s experienced that. One: Do straight dudes pay that close of attention to fashion/details? If so, I politely decline. Two: Isn’t it pretty hot when a guy wants you to ditch the bra and go au naturel? Three: Wait, fuck all of that, the ideal man is one who’s all about the boobs, and embraces them both propped up and not and that’s the sexiest. So there.

Which brings me to my next point: men’s fascination with boobs.

I said eye roll earlier because sometimes the goo-goo-gaga thing over boobs gets a little old. I’ve experienced it with men across the board, and I feel like there’s a line of a flattery and I-will-punch-you-hi-my-eyes-are-up-here feeling. Just enough obsession is perfect, in my opinion. Loving and embracing them is a surefire turn-on for both parties. But if they need the boobs out constantly, it’s like, bro, have you not seen tits before? And goddamn, sometimes I’m just flat-out cold. Now pass me my sweater, servant boy. Mwuahaha.

Anyhow, what’s been your experience? Have you experienced guys who were way too obsessed with your boobs? Didn’t acknowledge them? Told you to put a bra on? And if so, did you tell them to fuck off? Let this girl and her boobs know.
