If a Smokeshow Hall of Fame exists, Brooklyn Decker needs to be inducted immediately. She’s a MILF, 5’9” model icon, and married to her smokeshow counterpart Andy Roddick. I’m drooling. But regardless of her mesmerizing boobs, I mean eyes, my favorite thing about the Grace & Frankie actress doesn’t have anything to do with her appearance—it’s her grade-A confidence. And I get what you’re thinking…
No shit, Taylor. She’s a model.
But even models have their insecurities, regardless of how perfect or confident they may seem. And yes, sometimes hearing about those insecurities from such godly specimens makes you be like…
But at the end of the day, it’s not fair for us to question how or why they experience the same emotions we do. Especially with their trainers unecessarily screaming drills in their ear at ungodly hours of the morning. Yes, standing next to Brooklyn made me feel like a wildebeest of sorts. But when she opened up about a huge insecurity she had growing up, I wasn’t annoyed. If anything, I felt like her 5’1” sister from a very short mister.
Turns out, Brooklyn felt super awkward growing up about one of her greatest show business assets: her legs. Her legs go for days, and while she celebrates them now, she didn’t always. Especially when she had to squat to kiss boys that were shorter than she was. I can’t say I know from experience, but I can’t imagine that being the greatest confidence-booster, especially in awkward years of growing up. With time, BD learned to embrace those bad boys, slay all day, and now she’s wearing heels to be closer to heaven, like:
Take it or leave it, bitches.
