Talk To Me Taylor

About Taylor Ferber

in About on 09/25/17

So, you’re sick of PC pop culture talk and boring celebrity interviews, too? You’ve come to the right place. Welcome to Talk To Me Taylor.

I’m Taylor Ferber — a veteran red carpet reporter turned pop culture provocateur, podcaster, and media personality based in Nashville. Playboy called me the “Celebrity Whisperer,” and I’ve built a career on getting real with people — from Chris Pratt to Oprah — using nothing but a selfie stick and zero filter.

What I’m Up To Now

These days, I’m everywhere. My flagship show Talk To Me Taylor (formerly Cancel Me, Baby!) is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeart, and YouTube. I also co-host Undressed Show with Joe Francis and go live every Tuesday and Thursday at 10PM ET on Politically Uncensored LIVE! on YouTube and X.

I write on my Substack, answer your burning questions on Minnect, and post daily on Instagram @talktometaylor where I have over 14,000 of the most engaged followers on the internet.

Street Cred

I’ve been a regular contributor to outlets like Us Weekly, The Hollywood Reporter, and Vulture and have covered every major event from the Emmys to the Grammys and the Vanity Fair Oscar party. I’ve traveled the world visiting sets and interviewing stars of blockbusters like Aquaman, Black Widow, and Wonder Woman 84.

In 2019, I spearheaded a six-page feature in Playboy’s 65th anniversary issue in which I, alongside fellow female journalists, challenged norms by posing in an artful pictorial and writing essays on free expression. I’ve tackled Hollywood’s hypocrisy around #MeToo in The Huffington Post, sexual exploitation — or not — of women stars for Bustle, and my non-Me Too experience with Morgan Freeman for Playboy. I penned an Op-Ed published in USA Today on my Chrissy Teigen experience and cancel culture at large.

I’m not afraid to go there to start the dialogues we want and need. Boobs out, brain on.

    Hi Taylor,

Hope all is well. I have phone interview time with Peter Kraus tomorrow from 11:00-12:00 a.m. ET.

Would you like to grab 15-minutes with him via phone?

Email me and we can lock it in hopefully.

Just read your piece on USA Today, about Teigan (sp?). She sounds like a real piece. But, I don’t Twitter, or Facebook, or participate in any so-called ‘social’ media. It’s all anti-social.
Here in Victoria, BC, I like to think we’re above that. But, I’m only one man. Traditional, but open-minded.

I see you really went After Chrissy Tiegen. I am not the least bit interested in Hollywood gossip, but I do like her from what I’ve seen—a lot. The country could easily tip into fascism soon if the Republicans get control again, and Chrissy calls that out. Whatever your dispute was with her I can confidently say she was probably in the right.

I am glad she uses harsh language on racists, xenophobes and fascists. The biggest mistake people can make right now is being silent…

Hi there. Thanks for the input, I totally agree that silencing people is so harmful and destructive. I am a free speech advocate. My conflict with Chrissy Teigen happened five years and was not political — I called out her bullying on social media.

I just read your opinion piece “I called out Chrissy Teigen’s cyberbullying years ago…” that published today on USA Today. Fucking brilliant! Can I say fucking in a comment? Well maybe only you will see this but that’s ok.
I read it and wanted to cry with happiness at seeing someone in pop culture reporting speaking some actual sense!!!
I sent my husband this text with a link to your article.
“This is the first article written by a pop culture reporter that actually makes sense! I’m flabbergasted and slightly hopeful that she’s getting airtime. Read it!”
I am so encouraged by what you wrote and your common sense view on cancel culture.
How are you not getting canceled yourself??? It seems like anyone with coherent, non-reactive thoughts is getting canceled these days.
Keep up what you are doing. I cannot wait to read more of what you say and hope to God more people read you too. Good luck! And thanks for making my day.

Wow, thank you Lindsay!!! It is mutual because you just made MY day. Truly. I’m so glad that it resonated with you. I have to admit, I was surprisingly pretty shocked they took the piece also because of all the mainstream media narratives I talk about in the piece. If you’re on IG, definitely follow me at @TalkToMeTaylor, and if you liked the piece, you’ll love my show Cancel Me, Baby! (it’s on YouTube, IG, Apple, Spotify, etc.). The show’s whole premise is that I challenge and make fun of the woke cancel culture and say things that we really all think. Check it out! x

I agreed with your article, I called out Chrissy Tiegen cyber bullying. I’m not on Twitter, Instagram n other social media, imagine that! But just reading news about her was enough for me to realize what she was all about. She justified her comments by saying she was defending herself from online trolls and other people’s negative comments about her. But her communications were so “ mean girl” filled with foul words and hate. I’ve seen these girls in society I’ve worked with them, been out socially around them listened to their toxic conversations. It’s a hateful way of life that needs to be called out, it needs to stop. We have enough hurt and sorrow in life. If you don’t agree say so in an intelligent way, avoid degrading and marginalizing people.

Thank you, Lisa! I couldn’t agree more. I actually dedicated my 50th episode of my show Cancel Me, Baby! to everything you just said and the way that women poorly communicate and degrade one another, sometimes even more so than men. Appreciate your input!

FYI I just put your name in for the PSU alumni trustee nominations. Not sure if that’s something you’d be interested in, but I think you’d do a good job at it. If you’re interested, you’d need to get 49 other nominations, which you might be able to pull together if you try. The university these days is full of people who’ve gone off the left-wing deep end, and most of the people who stand up to them have gone off the right-wing deep end. You seem like a sane, thoughtful, and independent minded person who cares about issues like free speech, which would be important here.
