I’m guilty of writing attractive actors off as vapid. Can you blame me? Don’t answer that. But most of the time, I’ll admit, I’m proven wrong. Unless, of course, they’re a really fucking good actor. So when meeting Big Time Rush alum James Maslow, I’ll admit I had my speculations. He’s charming, hot, and has millions of teen girls fainting at the thought of breathing his air. But alas, he was cool as hell. Partially because beneath the good-looking guy is an incredibly driven guy.

Turns out, his attractiveness only got him so far in Hollywood. And if anyone knows how damn hard it is to make it in this business, it’s me. So when James took part in #WeAreMore and showed what it is about his character that allows him to succeed, I gave him props and I could also relate.
