When I met Ally Brooke (former member of Fifth Harmony), I was thinking about why women aren’t as vocal as men about what they want in the bedroom. You know it’s true…
Little did I know, Ally’s actually waiting to have sex until she gets married, which she revealed in the interview. Talk about being vocal about what you want. That takes balls! And a lot of self-restraint. After our brief talk, I realized that seizing the power to stand by what you do want in bed is just as strong as sticking to your guns about what you don’t want to be doing sexually. Food for thought.

I’ll admit I was pretty mind-blown by the dichotomy. In Fifth Harmony, Ally was such a sexy little vixen (remember “Work From Home”?), freely singing about sexuality and claiming power in relationships while dominating the stage and shaking that BODY-ODY in the process. Yet in real life, she’s actually choosing to remain a virgin until marriage. More power to her, by the way, for being able to pull off both. Just goes to show: never judge a book…
