He may be living the dream as a co-host of HGTV’s staple show Flip or Flop, but Tarek el Moussa has been through it. He and his ex-wife (and co-host) Christina Anstead have basically become synonymous with their public split, and I can’t imagine how frustrating that is for the both of them. Although Tarek is a TV star, I wondered if having his whole life on blast is worth it all: being famous, having his show, making tons of money, etc.
A little bit of background: three years after their show premiered (and having two kids together), Tarek and Christina separated in 2016 — their divorced was finalized in 2018. During the process, tabloids have loved using their faces as covers. It’s been an ongoing situation. Last May, the first episode of Flip or Flop aired after their public split and Christina remarried (on her show Christina on the Coast) last December.
