So, Nick Viall is now the Bachelor. Whattaya know? You might be thinking: Taylor, emerge from that giant boulder you’re living under, please. Nick Viall has been the Bachelor for a minute. Well, friends, I’m sadly (?????) not a member of #BachelorNation. Not to mention, the news came as a little bit of a surprise, seeing as how I interviewed Nick over the summer before any of us had any sort of inkling that he’d be the next Bachelor.
Sneaky mofo.
Now that the country is obsessed with Nick’s newly-chiseled abs, I dove into the archives to find our special, special conversation with former Bachelor Chris Soules. I wanted to get down to it. I asked if they really intended on going on these shows to find love, if they were in it for the self promo, if it’s hurt their dating lives (which seem to be incapable of not airing on TV), and what makes them dudes beyond the infamous red roses.
