Like any movie or show she’s ever been on, June Diane Raphael makes motherhood her bitch. A few months ago, the 36-year-old welcomed her second baby with her actor hubby Paul Scheer. If there’s one thing the Grace & Frankie star loves, it’s being the woman of the house, surrounded by her two adorable baby boys and husband. Oh, feelings.
But if there’s something she’s conflicted about, it’s letting her sons see her privates.
Completely understandable. I grew up without seeing my parents nude, and think I wound up OK. But I agree with June. To each their own. This debate has been going on for a minute now and the actress was still pregnant when we spoke. She verbally weighs pros and cons of mothers having their children see them naked. And, you’ll notice she considers it with boys especially, since she now has two. Maybe it would teach them to treat women with more respect. Maybe not. There’s no right or wrong, just the spectrum of uncomfortableness.
I’m not a mom, but I do feel like I’m a pretty open book. And there was even something about my roommate’s dog seeing me naked that made me feel uncomfortable. Maybe it’s different with your own kids. But if you’re down for it, more power to you. Meanwhile, I’ll be over here like…
